The Democratic Science Initiative (WissDem) brings together researchers, universities, academic organizations, professional associations, and civil society actors. Together, we are committed to identifying threats to the freedom of research and teaching, as well as to university autonomy, at an early stage; strengthening the ability to take decisive action; and sustainably building the resilience of the academic system against anti-science attacks.
